The focus of this class will be on improving students' English conversation, reading and writing skills by studying a wide range of topics and issues. The class will also include an introduction to presentations and discussions or debates.

Students will study with a partner or in groups to improve conversation ability, and practice presenting information to the rest of the class. Writing exercises will be used during the semester to study topics in more detail.

Each topic will be studied for two to three classes, starting with listening, reading and discussion. Students will work in groups and pairs to form opinions and ideas. Presentations will also be introduced during the semester.
