Japanese (Intermediate) Ⅲ <Grammar, Kanji and Vocabulary>

Students will learn expressions and grammatical items of the first half of the intermediate level.
To acquire Kanji and vocabulary of the first half of the intermediate level.

【Goal】
The purpose of this class is to develop basic skills in grammar and kanji vocabulary at the early intermediate level. In particular, will acquire the ability to communicate with Japanese people using the grammar and vocabulary learnt. Also, will increase the range of kanji vocabulary at the early intermediate level and increase the range of expression in Japanese.

・All lectures and learning activities will be conducted in Japanese.
・Classes will be held in person. If remote classes become necessary due to an emergency or the spread of an infectious disease, etc."classes will be offered via an online platform such as zoom.

Detailed schedule will be given out on the first day.

Prepare for class by reading the material and studying for the quiz.
Review what has been learned, including new vocabulary and grammar rules, and practice writing Kanji characters.

【Prerequisite】
Participants are expected to have individual goals to achieve by the end of semester committing yourself with studies with diligent attitude.
「final test」について，遠隔授業になった場合は「Final in-class test」とします。

You cannot receive credit for a course if you are absent more than 4 times. Please note that arriving more than 30 minutes late to a class or leaving a class when there are 30 minutes or more of the class period left will count as an absence. In addition, arriving to class less than 30 minutes late 3 times will count as 1 absence. Similarly leaving class early 3 times (when there are less than 30 minutes of the class left) will count as an absence.
