The purpose of this course is to offer students opportunities to understand how Japan and the international community interact with each other from the perspectives of international relations and international cooperation. Students first learn international politics and public policy of Japan. After learning basic research methods, students will think about how Japan is engaging with various global issues such as conflict, disaster, and peacebuilding. |
到達目標
The students’ understanding on these global issues will be deepened by discussing Japan's diplomatic strategies on PKO, human security, peacebuilding, and disaster risk reduction through the global governance and geopolitical initiatives. |
